We have Sunday morning classes for children and adults, as well as a nursery for very young children. Signs will point the way to where you wish to go, but always feel free to ask if you feel lost. We are very happy to take you to the appropriate location:
- The nursery is located on the 1st floor of the main building, and is open from 10 am until after the worship service.
- Children meet for Bible study on the 2nd floor of the Education Building, in room 212. Class starts at 10 am.
- The Lectionary Bible Study Class for adults meets in the Fellowship Hall on the 1st floor of the Education Building. Class starts at 9:45 a.m.
- The EPC Cru: A Class for Young (and Young-ish) Adults meets in the Session room of the Fellowship Hall. Class starts at 10 am.
The Lectionary Bible Study Class for adults meets on the 1st floor of the Education Building, in the Fellowship Hall. Class starts at 9:45 AM. Led by Scott Grosse, it offers an interesting and interactive study/discussion of the lectionary passages for each Sunday, which then prepares participants for greater engagement with the worship service and sermon following. For more information on the lectionary that Emory Church uses, see the web site of the Revised Common Lectionary.
The EPC Cru is Emory’s Sunday School class for young (and young-ish!) adults. Meeting on the 2nd floor of the Education Building, just down the hall from the Children’s class, we gather weekly to learn, fellowship, and discuss topics from issues in the Bible to happenings in the world, all from the standpoint of our faith. Singles and couples alike are invited to join us.
